Thanks for the restack, Fred. I'm still reading you. I've been in a period of deep isolation, so I'm figuring out how best to re-enter the world. I'm a bit rusty, I'm afraid, and can feel the creaking. Anyway, I wanted to say hi and thank you. I think your gmail address is the only one I have, so if you'd like to share a new one, I'd love to stay in touch.
The post was aimed at people who might have similar aversions to Google and AI, and who might want to consider alternatives. I had read several articles, which I linked, for others who might want to DeGoogle, but thought it might also be beneficial to share how I approached the process and my experience with it.

I still have the g33zr2 Gmail, but prefer g33zr@posteo.com
Deep isolation can be a two-edged sword. I'm hopeful that you've turned a positive leaf and a productive creative outlet.
I would say yes to both. It's just not clear to me how best to communicate with people out in the world right now. But, you know, I'm trying.
Don’t worry, whatever works for you T. These are trying times….
Yes, indeed.

Sheesh!!! It’s a lot of mumbo-jumbo to me, a layperson. :)
Joan is a super buena amiga!
Degoogling sounds very difficult, I wouldn't dare try it myself for fear of erasing something important.
Happy 2025! For many years, many more books!
Thank you, Teresa.
I confess to eccentricity.
Good Lord!
In the end, it turned out to be easier than I thought it would.
Quite the process you went through. And I was so happy to help get your books out in the world.
Thank you Deni, for the restack.
