This poem describes so well such a common human experience. What is it about that one who didn't feel the same, that they follow us like a strange version of a silent stalker? Well done, Frederick. Blessings and MUCH LOVE. ~Wendy๐Ÿ’œ

This I see as a hauntingly naked poem of us humans seeking love in the places where it can't be found, with partners that can't or won't reciprocate. It's a long process to come to a point where our own Self-love and integrity are so firm, that we can stand in our own space and are able from there to reach out. Until that happens we will look for someone "out there" to make us complete. When we are more complete ourselves, the persons we attract are more likely to be those with whom we can interact not from lack but from fullness. This is a lesson it has taken me a lifetime to learn. With love, Maria
